PG students from our institute who secure I or II Rank and of such students willing to pursue their higher studies in Abroad, their 25% of the I year tuition fees levied by that institute will be borne by the Management. PUC: All the Pre-University courses are under annual scheme with total 2 years for each course. UG : all the under graduate course are under semester scheme with total 6 semesters for each course.
PG Diploma: (Evening Course) PG: all the Post Graduate courses are under semester scheme with total 4 semesters for each course. B.Ed: The B.Ed course is under semester scheme with total 2 semesters.
D.Ed: 2 years course.
» The Syllabus & Examination Schedule: The courses of study and the scheme of examination shall be commensurate with the syllabus and rules prescribed by the Pre-University Board / Bangalore University.
» Examinations & Tests : Class tests, Mid-session and Preparatory examinations will be conducted according to the norms prescribed by the Pre-University Board / Bangalore University from time to time. Attending the Class tests, Mid-session and Preparatory examinations are compulsory. In case of absence the student shall lose the internal assessment marks. The performance of the students in the class tests, Mid-session and Preparatory examinations and their attendance will be intimated to their parents / guardians regularly.
» Seminars and Workshops: The College will conduct regular Seminars and workshops on the different theme s of current and emerging topics. The workshops and seminars will include all the colleges in the vicinity of Bangalore city. The subject experts and eminent personalities are invited to interact with the students and share their expertise and experiences.
» Rural Camps: The College will conduct regular rural camps to the social work students as per their syllabus to impart the regular training. The training in rural camp is expected to enable the students to explore and understand the rural folk's need and problems as part of the country's rural programme and gain experience in community, psychiatry and General health care.
» Study Tour : The institute is organizing a regular study tours, project work, industrial visits and rural camps to the students as per their syllabus, so that students are exposed to actual practical training and vocational guidance to build up their educational carrier.
» Internal Assessment : The Internal Assessment marks shall be awarded strictly on the basis of Attendance, Class Tests, Mid-session and Preparatory examinations, Seminars, Study Tour, Assignments, Rural Camp Visits & reports (MSW) held during the semester / year, day to day performance and conduct of the student.
» Discipline: The institute maintains highest standard of disciple in all aspects. The institute expects a high degree of discipline from the student. The student should be dressed smartly, maintain time in the courses assigned to them and be attractive in personal hygiene and above all an exemplary behavior. The management takes a serious view of students who strike or boycott classes and such irresponsible behaviors will not be tolerated. Students found guilty of provoking instigating leading or participating in any illegal strike or boycott of classes will be summarily dismissed and strict actions are taken against those who failed to follow the rules and regulations stipulated by the management.

Facilities of Institutions
The Institute has well-equipped and excellent laboratories fro imparting practical education. The laboratories are well furnished with all modern equipment / materials for standard of education that meets the requirements of the university. The laboratories are well equipped with Air Conditioned tissue culture chamber and laminar flow bench, UV-Spectrophotometer, UV-Trans Illuminator, Incubators, Shaker with incubator, High speed cooling centrifuge machine, BOD Incubator, Jel-Doc, PCR, Plant grow chamber, Autoclave, Binocular Microscopes, Trinocular Microscopes with Camera, Research Microscopes, Optical Instruments, charts, models, specimens and other useful instruments and equipments to impart and enhance the practical aspects to the students.
Library :
The institute is having the spacious Library. The Library is stacked with various professional and nonprofessional books, scientific and educational journals, periodicals and Activities papers in English and regional languages. Rated as one of the most comprehensive collection of knowledge in related fields of courses, the library is constantly updated the best books and periodical with large collection of audio and video presentation in the form of slides, overhead projectors, video and audio cassettes.
The Library will keep open during the academic terms from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm. Students will be given borrow card for borrowing books. These cards should be signed by the students and attested by the Librarian. The students should produce the I.D. Card while entering the Library. Taking reference books outside the library is not permitted. Perfect silence must be observed in the Library hall.
Sports & Recreational Facilities :
Wide ranges of Outdoor and Indoor sports facilities are provided. The institute encourages students to participate in Inter Collegiate, State level, National level, International level sports & cultural activities. Recreation hall is provided with indoor games like Chess, Carom and Table tennis.
A variety of recreational and cultural programmes and social events are organized periodically to assimilate the students into the social fabric of the society. The students are encouraged to participate in activities of their choice and interest.
Transport Facilities :
The institute is having its own mini bus that is used for the conveyance of the students and the staff members to various destinations like hospital, clinics and for attending conferences, seminars, symposiums, workshops, exhibitions and meetings. The bus is also used for taking the students to short industrial visits, study tours and rural camps for importing practical training to the students.
Hostel Facilities :
VSSECT Trust has established separate hostels for Boys and Girls that provide pleasant and homely atmosphere. Hygienic food, Comfortable lodging apart from recreation facilities are the hallmarks of the hostels that are situated closely to the college campus. The borders have to strictly abide by the rules and regulations of the hostel. A novel system has been introduced to meet the expenditure of the hostels. The borders should purchased coupons (monthly / quarterly) by paying in advance.
If the coupons are not purchased the student will not be allowed to stay in the hostel and his/her caution deposit will be forfeited. Caution deposit of Rs. 10,000/- has to be paid by the student at the time of admission. The same will be refused only after the completion of the hostel in the middle of the course.

Students can maintain their account in Canara Bank, Andhra Bank, ICICI Bank and other nationalized banks situated closely to the Institute; these banks also provide ATM facility.

Every student will be provided excellent medical care. Students should compulsory undertake periodical medical checkup. Blood donation camp will be held once in a year.
